“A photograph can be an instant of life captured for eternity that will never cease looking back at you.” -Brigitte Bardot
I like this quote, don’t you?
The other day I was reading my new favorite blog, A Beautiful Mess, and I got inspired. There was a post I read where they talked about photographing moments in their life’s. More so, capturing moments that hold a story for them. It struck me.
Why hadn’t I thought of that? I carry my phone everywhere with me. Yes, I have captured the milestones and family trips. But what about the small moments in between. For me, they have just slipped by. I don’t like that. So I decided to change it. I pulled out my camera this past weekend and started to grab snap shots where I saw them like the photograph above. Those are my mom’s glasses as we had our Sunday morning coffee.
This weekend I tried a new project. Capture the little moments that hold stories for myself and here is what I came up with.
A few shots of my pup Scruffy as he slept…look at those feet
So this was my start on capturing the little moments a beautiful project I will continue to do.
Until next time,
Stefanie
