I’m a purest, when it comes to Easter eggs. I like to dye them all one color and the brighter the better. Even though I fail 99% the time at making them flawless. Such is life. I think I have learned to let go of flawlessness. There is beauty in seeing what comes from letting go and embracing imperfection. Don’t you think?
This Easter I spent the day coloring Easter eggs, eating jelly beans (which I love), eating Peeps (which I don’t love), and baking cookies with my son and my family, as well as, watching Tron Legacy (which is a great movie). We kept it low key, which was fine for me this year. From time to time that is just what I need. I am all about going all out and living life to the fullest, but sometimes, you don’t have to go all out to celebrate time together. Sometimes it’s more important, and just as perfect, to slow down in life. To take note of the loveliness of the simple, sometimes uneventful, moments in life.
So here is to simplifying it up and Happy Monday everyone.
Until next time everyone have a great week.
Much love,
Stefanie
